ARTISTS

Three musicians, one comedian and a really happy guy

The 2010 Reformation Conference is pleased to announce performances by musicians Krisitian Stanfill, After Edmund and Flame. Joining them will be comedian Bob Smiley and worship leader Curt Vernon. These artists are certain to deliver excellent performances with powerful messages.

Kristian Stanfill

PERFORMING: Saturday Session 2

Worship leader Kristian Stanfill is emerging as one of this generation's most compelling singer/songwriters. A writer of rare insight and vulnerability, he has the unique ability to build bridges over boundary lines that separate the hurting from the Healer. "A great worship leader must first be a great follower," Kristian asserts. "In order to lead people in worship you must first know how to listen to and follow the Holy Spirit. That is something I've been learning over the past few years, just by observing how people respond to what God is doing at any given moment."

After Edmund

PERFORMING: Saturday Session 1

Just like throwing creative caution to the wind, the guys have turned over complete control of their future to the ultimate Creator and are keeping their cool. After all, it’s never been their goal to amass money or fame, but to truly touch lives one listener at a time.

Flame

Website: www.flame314.com

PERFORMING:
+ Friday Free4All Student Concert
+ Saturday Youth Leaders Discussion Forum
+ Saturday Session 2

Flame was born Marcus Gray and raised in the inner city streets of St. Louis, Missouri. Now a leader in reforming the culture that he too was engulfed in, the foundation of Flame’s ministry is to reach those same streets with his soapbox messages to lead his listeners to Christ. Flame now reigns amongst the forefront runners in the Christian Rap industry known to challenge and encourage its audience with an unwavering clear presentation of the Gospel.

Bob Smiley

PERFORMING: Saturday Session 1

It’s been said that Bob has a heart for bringing people closer to God by getting them to laugh at everyday stories and not so everyday situations. Of course that quote came from his mom who also can’t understand why he hasn’t been called up to the NBA. The bottom line is, Bob uses standup and humor writing as a way to draw people in so he can tell them the good news of Jesus Christ!

Curt Vernon

PERFORMING:
+ Friday Free4All Student Session
+ Saturday Session 1 & 2

Curt is an elder at a little church called Thoroughbred Community Church in Nicholasville, KY, where he is enthusiastically learning to be a sheep first and a shepherd second under the leadership of his father, Butch Vernon. He lives in a 1991 Chevy van and spends much of his time praying with college students around the country, desiring to see revival sweep his nation as the people of God grow up into “the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ.” (Ephesians 4:13)
